This scrappy trip around the world block – apparently everything goes. I hope so because I’ve just inherited a box of scraps that includes much brown, yellow and mustard.
And orange. Hmmm. I know this is only 4 blocks but I’m not convinced yet.

Test my theory of fabric: when in doubt, chuck some neon/ lime green at it…
LOL Are you serious? The only greens I have in the scrappy box are oliveish and, along with the mustard, I can’t quite bring myself to do it! Khaki? Got some of that too.
Oh oh, there is the greeny-yellow Vincent fabric you sent at school. Would that do?
oh no, nothing of the olive/mustard green persuasion. It has to be neon… or that shade I know as kelly green. Needs to be acidic to make the blacks and reds pop further, and bring the orange out more. Fold the fabrics and do a “floss toss” type test – like when choosing fabric for a cross stitch 🙂
