Thankful.

That despite the horrendous quakes we have had here today, everyone in our family is safe and the house has escaped without a scratch. Not a single piece of broken anything.  Andrew has been called into work so I don’t expect to see him for a few days. The kids and I are bunking down in the lounge. Not that it’s any safer, it just feels better being together.

Watching the news with horror- so many people here have friends and relatives in NZ- everyone is shocked. All we can do from here is pray for all of you dealing with this- the whole country will be affected.

Thanks for all the txt updates yesterday – I had my mum and my sister calling to ask how you all were and to offer places to stay should you change your mind.
Figured AmboMan would be in demand, esp with Burnside High being a refugee centre.
Tell me more about the upcoming road trip!!!
